Uri Trailer: Vicky Kaushal As A Daring Army Man Will Give You Goosebumps
Uri starring Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles, is based on a real incident in India’s military history- a surgical strike against Pakistan on terror launch pads across the Line of Control (LOC). The makers released the trailer of the film, a while back, and it gives a heavy dose of action, drama and patriotism.

The official synopsis of the movie reads, “A defining moment in India’s military history. A moment that paved a path to a new, stronger India. Presenting URI.” Here is the trailer, also introducing Yami Gautam’s character, which was missing in the teaser.

The movie has been written and directed by Aditya Dhar. In an earlier interview, the filmmaker had said, “This is the story of what happened in those eleven days. It’s an honour and very reassuring to be backed by Ronnie Screwvala and to execute on this vision and what we believe is an engaging and thrilling story inspired by this true-life incident.”

Talking about Vicky Kaushal, the actor has taken many by a surprise with his acting skills. His fine performance in Sanju, as Ranbir’s friend and a whacky lover in Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan, has proven that this man is here to stay. Vicky is the son of famous action director, Sham Kaushal. Meanwhile, Yami’s last stint was Batti Gul Meter Chalu, with Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, which bombed at the box-office. However, the actress has experimented with a strong role in Uri. Let’s see how the audience receives the film.
